Hi! My name's Siobhan and I am a mummy to two beautiful Girls - Matilda (4) and Evelyn (2). My background is in Education having completed a BA (Hons) degree in Ballet Education back in 2008 at the Royal Academy of Dance and completing further Associate and Licentiate teaching examinations in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Freestyle over the years with the National Association of Teachers of Dancing. I have spent the last 12 years in a variety of Education settings - Nursery, Primary, Secondary. private and public schools - but most recently have discovered a passion and love for KS1 and KS2, Early Years and Babies, creating my own Baby and Toddler Music and Movement curriculum incorporating sensory activities with physical movement and a variety of music. I knew I wanted to explore this further when I was lucky enough to become a mummy...

When I gave birth to my first daughter back in 2015, I was determined to get out and about - however it felt like such a minefield trying to figure out a newborn and meeting other parents! I remember finding a Baby Massage class and feeling so nervous walking in on my own, but within minutes I was made to feel comfortable, safe and supported. I loved spending that time together just us, in such a relaxing atmosphere and I have very fond memories of my first course. When I had my second daughter, I knew straight away that I wanted to have that special time with her, and again booked myself onto a Baby Massage course. Except this time, when I began practicing those first few massage strokes, I also knew I wanted to take my learning further.

In 2019 whilst back at work teaching after my second maternity leave, I began training as a Baby Massage Instructor with To Baby and Beyond. I absolutely loved getting back into the swing of studying and relished the opportunity in the evenings at home to get my head in some books whilst my girls were asleep! I successfully passed all of the modules, teaching case studies and interviews in October 2019 and went about setting up Grow Together. Since then I have spent a great deal of time furthering my knowledge, understanding and qualifications in the world of Yoga and Mindfulness for babies and children. I truly believe that all children deserve to feel confident in their bodies and should be given the opportunities to understand how to self-regulate and develop resilience. In our fast-paced, ever changing world, children can lead stressful lives and it's important they are given the tools to control their breath, create a positive outlook and develop focus.
